Diese Arbeit untersucht ihre Ausgestaltung in den USA, Ecuador, Bolivien, Neuseeland und Kolumbien unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Rechte von Flüssen. Dabei wurden nähere Erkenntnisse über die Rechtsquellen und ihre Stellung im Rechtssystem, die Rechtsträger:innen, die gewährten Rechte, die Zulässigkeit von Eingriffen in die gewährten Rechte, die Vertreter:innen der Rechtsträger:innen und die Möglichkeiten zur Rechtsdurchsetzung gewonnen. The book examines Rights of Nature as adopted in the United States, Ecuador, Bolivia, New Zealand and Colombia, with a particular focus on the Rights of Rivers. It looks at six crosscutting aspects: the sources of law, the holders of the rights, the content of the rights granted, the conditions for limitations, the designation of legal representatives, and the possibilities for legal enforcement.
