<dc:description xml:lang="en">The Documenta Q volumes give a presentation and evaluation of the history of research on each section of the Sayings Gospel Q. This volume treats the segment Q 17:26-30, 34-35, the second part of the eschatological speech of Jesus in Q („As in the days of Noah“, „One Taken, One Left“) a crucial text of the endtime expectations of the earliest Christianity. All differences between Matthew and Luke in this section are discussed and suggestions for the reconstruction of the text of Q made, for example for the important distinction between „day“ and „coming“.</dc:description>
