FWF Austrian Science Fund Erzählen vom Leben im 20. Jahrhundert: Erinnerungspraxis und Erzähltraditionen in lebensgeschichtlichen Interviews am Beispiel der Region Montafon/Vorarlberg Lebensgeschichtliche Erzählungen werden von vielen Faktoren geformt. Von der gegenwärtigen Erzählsituation über die individuelle Wahrnehmung des Vergangenen bis hin zur Rekonstruktion in Form von Erinnerung und Erzählung prägen viele Einflüsse die Form, die alte Menschen schließlich für die retrospektive Darstellung ihres Lebens wählen. Am Beispiel von 67 lebensgeschichtlichen Erzählungen wird in der Arbeit „Erzählen vom Leben im 20. Jahrhundert“ aufgezeigt, wie kulturelle Einflüsse die Erinnerungspraxis prägen und Erzähltraditionen letztlich über die Form der autobiographischen Darstellung entscheiden. Biographic narratives are shaped by many factors.
