Kulturen der Gattung versucht eine umfassende systematische und historische Neubewertung der Gattungskategorie in der deutschsprachigen Literatur, 1750-1950. Gezeigt werden Aspekte einer Geschichte der Beziehungen von Literatur-, Wissens- und Naturordnung.
